Rafael Cruz

Strength Coach, Author, Speaker, and founder of Miami Strength Club, is part of the most influential coaches in Miami. He specializes in Strength & Conditioning. With over 20 years of experience in helping his clients realize their dreams. Rafael has coached at The City University of New York, among many other top private fitness institutions. From 2014 to 2016, he acted as a strength & conditioning coach at Miami Dade FC and continues to coach World-class athletes of different sports. Whether you are just starting, or a well-accomplished athlete, Coach Rafa's ability to identify what his clients need in the context of their goals and their history is precisely what makes him a top expert.

Jen weste

Specializes in strength and conditioning.  When not teaching at the gym, you can still find her there, practicing her Olympic lifting as well as strength training.  Jen started as one of our early club members.   As people noticed her commitment and her training style, members suggested she begin teaching classes at Miami Strength Club.  Since then, Jen has been giving our members great results through fun and exciting workouts.  She includes strength and condition, as well as a Leg and Bun class.  Jen's workout structure and programming are well suited for those looking to remain lean, athletic, and have a little fun. 

Currently, Jen is completing her certification with the International Sports Sciences Association in the following areas:  Personal Training, Sports Nutrition, Strength, and Conditioning.

David Olivo Maysonet

Specializes in Weight loss management and Kettlebells Sports training. David enjoys  MBIT Business College and then acquired a National Academy of Sports Medicine, personal training certification (NASM CPT). Besides, David's credentials include Senior Fitness Specialist (SFS), Golf Fitness Specialist (GFS). As a Fitness Consultant and Personal Trainer training clients in our studio,  David's skills,  personality, and abilities are an asset in your training.

Michael Rivera

He specializes in Bodybuilding Training. Mike is a Fitness Consultant at Miami Strength Club and trains clients in our studio.


With many years of experience, Mike's skills and abilities will take you to the next level. Mike holds several certifications, including Personal Training, Group Fitness.

Ta’Jay Henry

Ta'Jay is a fitness consultant and a personal trainer who specializes in weight loss, functional training, and plyometric training here at Miami strength club. He also graduated with his bachelor's in health physical education and recreation at Mississippi Valley State University in 2017. Ta'Jay is a basketball player and played at the highest University level (Division 1). He received honorable mentions such as the SWAC player of the week in Jan 2017. Ta'Jay understands the ins and outs of being on the road competing and sustaining top performance, which allows him to help his clients understand what resources they can have while traveling. Ta'Jay is dedicated to and enjoys the company of his puppy, friends, and family.
